National Guardsman Dean Elliott thanked Kathy Mitchell, RN, for packages she sent while he was serving overseas.

Today Kathy Mitchell, RN, of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit had an unexpected visitor – local National Guardsman Dean Elliott, who came to thank her in person for a package she sent him while he was serving overseas. Kathy has been collecting goods and assembling care packages to send to the troops. She does this in memory and honor of her son, Cpl. Sean Mitchell USMC. Elliott said receiving the packages makes a difference to the troops, who not only enjoy the items included in them, but also the sentiment that they are appreciated and not forgotten.
