Peninsula Regional Medical Center and the Somerset County Health Department are teaming up to present the free education seminar “Medications and Diabetes-Do I or Will I Need Insulin?” on Thursday, June 20, 2013. The event, which is open to anyone wanting to learn more about living with Diabetes, will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Woodrow T. Wilson Community Center, 115 7th Street in Crisfield, Maryland.
Regina Kundell, CRNP, BC-ADM, of Peninsula Regional Endocrinology in Salisbury, and who has treated patients with diabetes for nearly a decade, will discuss the use of diabetes medications, including insulin. She has had Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus herself for over 35 years and is a long-time user of the insulin pump and other diabetes technology. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
