Peninsula Regional Medical Center is sponsoring a Thursday afternoon diabetes education class session during the months of November and December to discuss nutrition, foot care, glucose monitoring, exercise and other self-management skills to help assist with diabetes control.

The afternoon class session will meet at the Medical Center on five Thursdays from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. beginning November 5, 2009 and ending December 10, 2009. November 26th will be skipped for the Thanksgiving holiday. A nurse and a registered dietitian, who are both certified diabetes instructors, will teach all classes.
