Diabetes Support Group

Joining a support group can help you, your family or your friends cope with the concerns of day to day living with diabetes.  A support group provides a great way to stay up to date with the latest diabetes self-management strategies and tools. Best of all it's FREE! Guest speakers are health professionals and others who share their expertise in the area of diabetes care and management.

Support group meets on the second Monday of each month, September through May, from 7:00-8:00 p.m.  Meetings are open to anyone with diabetes and the people who support them. Meetings are held on the campus of Peninsula Regional Medical Center in the Avery W. Hall Educational Center at the corner of Waverly Drive and Vine Street.  Free parking is available around the building, in the parking lot across the street or in the nearby Parking Garage B.

If you would like more information about the support group, including upcoming guest speakers, please call the Diabetes Education Program at 410-543-7061.
