Peninsula Regional Medical Center - Part of Peninusula Regional Health System
Clinical Research

Medical treatments have come a long way in the last 30 years.  Today, many more patients are surviving serious illnesses because of improvements in medical treatments and recognition of the special medical and nursing needs of patients.

These improvements have come about through research, both in the laboratory and in Peninsula Regional Medical Center.  However, there still are many questions to be answered about treatments for patients and the care they receive.

Peninsula Regional Medical Center participates in many of these clinical trials.  You may be asked to take part in a clinical trial or to give permission for a family member, who is not able to make the decision.  We ask that you please give serious consideration to participation if requested.
