HERITAGE SOCIETY
Donors making gifts of $1,000 or more during a calendar year are recognized as members of the Foundation's Heritage Society. Heritage Society member names are listed each year in a book in the Hall of Heritage adjacent to the Main Lobby of the Medical Center. A bi-annual event is held to thank our Heritage Society members.
Contributions of $10,000 or more are honored by placing the donor's name in a permanent display on the wall in the Hall of Heritage.
The 2010 Heritage Society Reception
On June 5, 2010 the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Foundation held their annual Heritage Society Reception at the home of Palmer Gillis in Ocean City, Maryland. The Heritage Society Reception honors Peninsula Regional's donors for the past year. Guests enjoyed fantastic food and drink while basking in the warm sunshine on the bay, perfect for the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" themed event. John Frinzi, who has played with the likes of musician Jimmy Buffet, provided musical entertainment for the evening. Guests arrived by boat captained by Leighton Moore and his wife, Rebecca Moore or by limos, courtesy of Lovin' Life Limos. Leighton Moore is the Chairman of the Foundation Board at PRMC. The evening was topped off in true Ocean City beach style with a banner place thanking donors for their support.
