Dietetics is the branch of therapeutics concerned with the practical application of diet in relation to health and disease.  It is the science and art of applying the principles of nutrition to feeding.

The Registered Dietitians at Peninsula Regional Medical Center assist the physicians in caring for the patients by monitoring nutritional status and recommending medical nutrition therapy to aid the patient in recovery.  The Registered Dietitian may also work with the patient to make lifestyle changes in food choices to self manage their health

Each Clinical Dietitian is a Registered Dietitian and Maryland Licensed.  They are assisted by Dietetic Technicians who have degrees in dietetics or human nutrition.  Our clinical dietetic staff includes:
